While Adrian Bailey is literally running away with the Majestic Travel North Wales Cross Country Championship, he failed by 26 seconds to add the title of North Wales Cross Country Champion to his impressive CV last Saturday.

The one-off championship race held at Northop Hall was won for the seventh consecutive year by Eryri veteran Colin Donnelly in a time of 36.41mins with Bailey in second place in 37.01mins. Bro Dysynni were also successful in the male veteran over-60 category with Barrie Jackson home in 41.22mins, winning the class convincingly.

In the ladies section of the race, Glenda Davies finished in 23.38mins and Marjorie Griffiths was once again amongst the medals, as she finished as 3rd female over-50 in a time of 29.48mins.

Six Bro Dysynni members ventured to Menai Bridge last Sunday, to take part in the Menai Mini-Marathon 10k race. In a race won by Gary Williams (Eryri) in a time of 34.47mins, the Dysynni finishes were Malcolm Taylor in 41.41mins, Huw Harrison in 41.56mins, Adrian Bennett in 47.45mins, Colin Evans in 48.48mins, Debbie Evans was 3rd female overall in 49.36mins - her second personal best within a fortnight and Mike Stevens, home in 52.20mins.
