Wet conditions did not deter 21 athletes from Bro Dysynni from competing alongside a 1,200 strong field at the Chester Zoo 10k.


The first Dysynni runner home in third place overall, as well as setting both a club record and personal best over 10k, was Adrian Bailey, finishing in a time of 31.03mins.


Other Dysynni finishers on the day were Nigel Evans in 36.30mins, Malcolm Taylor in 38.45mins, Tom Lewis in 38.57mins, Graeme Stringer in 39.17mins, Richard Griffiths and David Whittey both in 39.39mins, John Nolan in 40.24mins, Barrie Jackson in 40.28mins, Huw Harrison in 40.37mins, Colin Evans in 41.24mins, Andrea Goode in 42.45mins, Andy Unwin in 44.22mins, Joseph Jones in 48.21mins, Debbie Evans in 51.29mins, Yolanda Marconi-Nolan in 53.07mins, Ann Lewis in 54.32mins, Christine Stevens and Gill Allday both in 56.04mins, Helen Williams in 61.53mins and Eirlys Griffiths in 63.09mins.
